About Us

Filmopoly is a film production and financing company founded by Angie Sanfilippo, Anthony Sanfilippo, Vince Jolivette and David Garrett. In 2023, Filmopoly produced and financed Crescent City starring Terrence Howard and Alec Baldwin, and Nowhere Men, starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jack Quaid. The company teamed up with Roy Lee and Spooky Pictures to produce the psychological thriller Desert Road, which will premiere at SXSW in March, 2024. Filmopoly recently completed production on the sci-fi thriller Portal in the Pines starring Jamie Kennedy, and the western Cottonmouth starring Esai Morales. The Threesome, a high-concept romantic comedy starring Zoey Deutch and Jonah Hauer-King completed production in February of 2024. The company previously produced Cabin Girl, which was picked up as a Tubi Original.

Vince Jolivette

Vince's highlights include Saturday Night, an award winning behind the scenes documentary of Saturday Night Live, Harmony Korine's Spring Breakers, Gia Coppola's Palo Alto, DaveFranco’s The Rental and the Emmy-nominated series Making a Scene. He's produced over one hundred films at a wide range of budget levels.In 2017, Vince was a producer on The Disaster Artist, a heartfelt look at one of the "best" worst movies ever made, was co-released by Warner Brothers and A24 and was nominated for multipleGolden Globes (including Best Picture for a Comedy or Musical) and Academy Awards He was also a producer on Zola. A wild tale based on Aziah King's Twitter feed and the RollingStone article "Zola Tells All: The Real Story Behind the Greatest Stripper Saga Ever Tweeted," which A24 premiered in the summer of 2021 to rave reviews.

David Garrett

David Garrett has written feature films for Dreamworks, Sony, Fox, Warner Brothers, Universal and Paramount. He co-wrote “Foreign Exchange” for MTV Films and the musical comedy “Do That To Me One More Time” (withJack Black) for Touchstone Pictures. Garrett co-wrote “Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo” for Happy Madison as well as “First Pet” and “Corky Romano” for Disney. Garrett directed and produced the award- winning political documentary “Who is Alvin Greene?”.

While Vice President at Intrigue Entertainment, David brought nearly a dozen foreign formats to the American television market. David set up the Turkish format "Game of Silence" with NBC, the Chilean format "First Lady" with Warner Brothers, and the Israeli format "The Quadruplets" with CBS. Previously, Garrett wrote and produced pilots, series & specials for ABC, NBC, CBS, UPN, MTV, USA, Comedy Central, Showtime and FOX. Garrett also o-wrote "The Hatfields and McCoys", a dramatic mini-series for the USA Network. He also had developed deals with FOX Television, Paramount TV, and Touchstone. David has lectured on screenwriting at New York Film Academy, UCLA, USC, Columbia College and film festivals throughout the world. He is also an experienced entertainment attorney and graduate of UCLA Law School, having served as production legal on over 100 projects. 

Angie Sanfilippo

Angie Sanfilippo began her producing career by investing in independent films.  Along with her husband Anthony, Angie financed and executive produced such films as The Hater, The Escape of Prisoner 614, The Pretenders, and Montauk, to name a few.   

In 2022, Angie co-founded Filmopoly and produced the Tubi Original, Cabin Girl, which was released in 2023. Since then, Angie has produced half a dozen films, which will be released later this year. 

While Angie stays busy with her five children and eleven grandchildren, she has found movies to be a way to leave a creative legacy for her family. 

Anthony Sanfilippo

Mr. Sanfilippo brings extensive operational, strategic and senior leadership experience in the hospitality industry, including casinos, hotels, restaurants and entertainment businesses.Mr. Sanfilippo is the co-founder of Sorelle Capital and Sorelle Hospitality, which have a focus on investing and operating companiesin the hospitality sector, and participating in a variety of real estate development ventures. Sorelle Hospitality owns and operates Pinewood Social, a full service restaurant and bar, a populardestination for locals and those visiting Nashville.Mr. Sanfilippo served as Chief Executive Officer and the chairman of the board of directors of Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc., a publicly traded gaming hospitality company with 16 casino locations in 10 states across the U.S. from 2010 until its 2018 sale to Penn National Gaming.He served as Pinnacle’s chairman of the board from 2017 until its sale. Prior to joining Pinnacle, Mr. Sanfilippo served as President, ChiefExecutive Officer and a board member of Multimedia Games Inc., a publicly traded creator and supplier of comprehensive technologysystems, content and electronic gaming devices for various segments of the gaming industry. Prior to joining Multimedia Games, he servedas division president at Harrah's Entertainment, Inc., currently known as Caesars Entertainment, Inc., including serving as president and chief operating officer for Harrah’s New Orleans and a board member of Jazz Casino Corporation. Mr. Sanfilippo also served as chairman of the board of Tivity Health, Inc. (Nasdaq: TVTY) until its acquisition by Stone Point Capital in 2022.
